My coaching philosophy:

You can’t coach a player / get the best out of him if you don’t know his character and what makes him tick. (Is his motivation to play and learn internal or external?) Get to know the human first and then become his coach.

To get the best out of your players you must create an environment that encourages excellence.

My coaching philosophy:

  • I am a coach that believes that an active lifestyle is an absolute necessity to maintaining a healthy body and mind throughout your life. Being able to get active through cricket is a great way to enjoy the experience and learn simultaneously. Cricket is more than just the sport, there are valuable lessons to be learned on the field that can be used elsewhere.
  • I try to ensure that the basics are focused on first and foremost, simply because they provide both the player and coaches with the perfect foundation to build upon. Bringing enjoyment back to the basics is essential to prolonging the amount of time cricket is played.
  • Lastly, I feel that cricket is a game for everyone, whether just starting or attempting to further your career. Being a team sport promotes social interaction as well as stimulates our hunger for competition. I want to ensure that every child has that opportunity.
