The primary function of the Parents' Association is to raise funds for Cornwall Hill College to enable the school to provide the best possible educational facility for our children. The profit from each and every fundraising event contributes to the continuous development and maintenance of facilities of Cornwall Hill College. In addition, the Parents' Association has a subcommittee, the Connect Committee, that considers questions of parental concern, guides parents through the school protocols and, where necessary, communicates matters of collective concern through the Parents’ Association to the Board of Directors (Board). In addition, the Connect Committee might provide a return communication channel to parents if deemed appropriate by the Board and/ or School Executive. The Connect Committee is made up of parents who are familiar with the school policies and protocols.
Each year the Parents’ Association host the following events:
- Sunset Braai - Friday 2 February 2018
- Golf Day - Wednesday 16 May 2018
- Pipe Band Gathering - Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 June 2018
- Carnival - Saturday 6 October 2018
- Christmas Market - Friday 2 November 2018 (TBC)
